Q: What is the closing date for entries to the WIRE Awards?

A: All entries must be received by midnight on Sunday 30th April 2017

Q: When will I know if my business has been successfully short listed?

A: Shortlisting assessments will be carried out during May 2017 and successful businesses will be notified before the end of May and to organise a visit from the Judging panel.

Q: What date is the awards ceremony?

A: The date and venue for the awards ceremony will be announced shortly. Entrants will be notified by email and you can check back here for updates.

Q: Do I have to enter for an award to be able to be included in the ‘My Favourite Retailer’ award?

A: No, all businesses that are eligible for the awards will be automatically entered into the ‘My Favourite Retailer’ award once a public vote is received.

Q: How can the public vote for their favourite retailers?

A: This can be done online at www.wireawards.co.uk, or or text WIRE plus your favourite independent retailers name to 60777 (e.g. WIRE retailer) Standard network charges may apply

Q: Can the public vote for winners in all the awards categories?

A: No, the only award that is judged by a public vote is the ‘My Favourite Retailer’ award

Q: Can I come to the awards event?

A: Tickets will be available for the awards event and will go on sale shortly via www.wireawards.co.uk

Q: Can I nominate a business or person for an award?

A: Yes. When you click on the tab ‘How to Enter’ you’ll be asked to complete the on-line form. The form will ask for the Business Name and also a separate Contact Name. The ‘contact name’ is the name of the person who is making the entry or nomination.

Q: What date is the awards ceremony?

A: The awards ceremony will take place on Tuesday 18th July 2017. Further details will be announced soon and you can check back here for updates.
